eLABORO d.o.o. from Split is a company specialized in protection and preservation of cultural heritage. Our team of experts is dedicated to the discontinuation of deterioration processes of cultural heritage, removal of present damages, contaminations and creation of more favorable conditions for preservation of cultural goods, alongside with the documentation of all the phases of mentioned procedures.

Our activities include conduction of research work on cultural heritage objects, laboratory examinations of samples, elaboration of proposal for restoration and conservation procedures, conduction and documentation of mentioned procedures, on mobile and immobile cultural goods, as well as archaeological material, geodetic surveys of immobile cultural heritage, cultural heritage maintenance in the sense of cleaning, protecting and conserving carved stone and other materials.

Company eLABORO d.o.o. employs experts from the areas of restoration and conservation (of different specializations), chemists and art historians that independently, or in cooperation with experts from other areas relevant for protection of cultural goods, perform all the necessary works and produce the supporting documentation, with the aim of preserving the characteristics of objects of cultural heritage.

All of the planned and performed procedures are in concordance with the contemporary methods of working with cultural heritage, with the emphasis on the non-invasive methods of conservation and restoration. The aim of our procedures is the removal of the signs of deterioration and damage, but with the preservation of the identity and character of the object. Damages and contaminations, in some cases accumulated for centuries, are subjected to the detailed diagnostic research, and in consultation with the supervising authority are carefully decomposed and removed, at the rate that does not danger the monument characteristics of the object.
